I am a qualified, experienced and insured Consultant Herbalist, and a member of the International Register of Consultant Herbalists (IRCH). Their website is www.irch.com. I qualified with a Master of Science (MSc) degree with merit, in Herbal Medicine in 2015. I undertook my initial training in Herbal Medicine over 30 years ago, and since then having undergone an extensive 5-year training programme with the International Register of Consultant Herbalists, qualifying in 2004 with a Diploma in Botano-Therapy. This involved thorough practical, academic and clinical training, including Diet, Nutrition and Naturopathy. Members of the IRCH are required to follow a strict code of ethics and professional conduct. Since then I have studied a number of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches including Iridology and Bach Flower Remedies, and often incorporate these into my practice.

Since 2009 I have been the course tutor for cardiff University Centre for Lifelong Learning, teaching the Herbal Medicine course. (See links page for further information about this course). I also conduct talks and walks to observe and learn about herbs and have held these for the Wildlife Trust in addition to other organisations.
